Project description

This is a transceiver module designed to send and receive serial data over AC or DC power lines. This version of the PLC-UART allows for throughput of up to 5Mbps! On the PLC-UART motherboard there are two 10-pin headers into which an RS-232, RS-485 or USB daughterboard (see related products below) can be inserted. These headers are also pin-compatible with all of our XBee modules, so the PLC-UART can become a powerline communication to Zigbee bridge.
