From manufacturer Moxa come two new solutions, which should be of particular interest to IT managers from the industrial and infrastructure environment. The first is the Iologik W5300 RTU controller series, which was designed for outdoor infrastructure monitoring tasks where there is no cabling or Internet connection. The data traffic passes via mobile network (GSM/UMTS), and the devices have digital and analog inputs as well as digital outputs and relay contacts.
