Project description
The basic version of the WiFi module WizFi250 from WizNet you may already know thanks to the article WizFi250 - WiFi Fast, Easy and Convenient. The latest modification of this module is the version with the suffix "H", which indicates the version with a pin bar (header).
As you can probably guess, this is a version designed for development, because the module does not need to be soldered to the motherboard. WizFi250-H ,can be advantageous not only for development but also for use in end equipment, where it will not be necessary to keep the construction height as low as possible (baseboard + WiFi module). At the same time, this combination allows you to mount other components on the motherboard under the WiFi module.
Structurally, the WizFi250-H module is designed as a combination of the WizFi250 module with a small PCB with 2x double pin rail (1.25 mm). In other properties it is identical to the original module, so they have the same data sheet WizFi250(link is external). WizFi250H can be used with the development board WizFi250-EVB(link is external). The attached pictures are also used to compare the two versions.
