Project Overview The G-5500 Hamlib Adaptor is a network-connected embedded controller that adds a Hamlib-compatible Ethernet interface to a G-5500 azimuth/elevation antenna rotator. It is primarily intended for operation with Gpredict and implements a partial subset of the Hamlib rotctld protocol over TCP. The adaptor connects to the rotator controller through its GS-232 DIN interface and receives operating power from the same DIN connection.
