속도가 얼마나 필요하신지는 잘 모르겠으나 W5500과 W5300의 네트워크 속도를 비교해 말씀드리면 W5300이 당연 더 빠릅니다.
또한 질문하신 W5500의 속도에 대해 말씀드리면 Nucleo STM32F401RE(Cortex M4)와 WIZ550io(W5500)를 가지고 SPI DMA mode로 Loopback Test를 했을 때 동작 네트워크 속도는 4.3Mbps 였습니다. 하지만 W5500의 네트워크속도는 MCU의 성능에 Dependency하며 최대 15Mbps의 속도를 가질 수 있습니다.
또한 네트워크 트래픽이 많아지면 속도 저하가 일어날 수 있습니다. 이는 W5500 칩의 특성이 아닌 네트워크 내부에 따르는 일이므로 실제 네트워크에 연결시 테스트 속도보다 떨어질 수 있습니다.

많은 참고가 되었습니다.
모듈로 된 w5500을 구입해서 당분간 써보고 결정을 해봐야겠네요.
다만 w5300이 발열이 심한걸로 아는데 발열부분과 전원공급 부분도 잘 고려해야겠습니다.
