Overview Smart Meter Gateway ESPHome Edition is a smart meter gateway developed by Smart Gateways. It is designed to connect a smart meter’s P1 port to Home Assistant using ESPHome. The gateway allows users to monitor smart meter data such as electricity consumption, solar production, current, voltage, gas usage, and water usage where supported. In this version, the product uses Seeed Studio’s W5500 Ethernet Adapter, which includes the WIZnet W5500 Ethernet controller.
