Project description
time to test it out and see how the air quality changes when we solder! I found that it took a bit of time for the SGP40 to just calibrate to the room's natural VOC level. And there's probably some specific distance that the sensor should sit from the soldering station, but I thought since I sit so close to the fumes, the sensor should be equally close. Turns out, even with the lead free solder, the VOC levels still skyrocketed above the normal VOC numbers.
Introducing the Remote Industrial VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Sensor Using Ethernet, a project designed to monitor air quality in industrial environments. This innovative solution leverages Ethernet connectivity to enable remote monitoring and data collection for industrial and commercial applications, ensuring the safety and well-being of workers.
The VOC sensor measures various volatile organic compounds in the air and sends the data through an Ethernet connection, allowing users to access real-time information from a remote location. This system is particularly useful for detecting harmful VOCs in industrial settings, where exposure to these compounds can pose significant health risks.
Key Features:
- Remote air quality monitoring
- VOC detection in industrial environments
- Ethernet connectivity for real-time data access
- Promotes worker safety and well-being
Applications:
- Industrial air quality management
- Workplace safety monitoring
- Environmental monitoring and control
- HVAC system optimization
