Project description
The CAN bus is one of the multi-master serial field buses that supports distributed control. It has strong error detection capabilities and has a simple communication hardware interface. Communication media selection is flexible, reliable, and highly real-time [1]. The main control board collects the detection boards of the 8 devices via the CAN bus and uploads them to a remote database via Ethernet or GPRS. By comparison with the preset alarm value, it is judged whether to perform alarm or other processing. If the data is normal, the data will be displayed on the LCD screen, and at the same time the data will be stored in the local PC database through the network cable or directly uploaded to the cloud, and the user can read the data remotely. If the data exceeds the warning line, an alarm shutdown will be performed.
The main control board uses STM32 as a microcontroller for data processing, W5500 as an Ethernet chip to upload data to a remote database, and SIM800A as a GPRS wireless transmission module chip to upload data to a remote database through a base station. The LCD uses a serial port screen to display the collected data and perform drawing. It can also set parameters as the main interface for human computer interaction. The screen is connected to the microcontroller via a serial port.
