Dear customer,
Thanks for your interest w7200.
A1)
Stm32f103c8 max spi clock has 36MHz but W5200 max spi clock is 25MHz.
Actually, the operation spi speed is 18MHz.
When spi speed is 18MHz, transmission speed measure value is 1.2MHz.(loopback test)
A2)
The MAC of W7200 is alterable. But this area(in the flash area) have to modify.
You have to modify the firmware(for modified MAC)
thanks,
Wiznet

“When spi speed is 18MHz, transmission speed measure value is 1.2MHz.(loopback test)”
1.2MHz mean 1.2 Mbps ???!!
if yes this is very slow !
in W5100E01-AVR with 8MHz Osc & SPI clk + W5100 → 6Mbps !
now, with Stm32 (Cortex ARM) + 18MHz spi clk + W5200 → 1.2Mbps !!!
Is that 1.2 Mbps or 1.2 MB/s ?
In fact, i need about 10Mbps speed . Is it possible ??
best regards

Dear customer,
Thanks for your interest in w7200.
You’re right, 1.2MHz mean 1.2Mbps.
I have tested about performance test both W5100E01-AVR and W5200E01-M3.
In case of two-way communication,This is shown in the picture below.
If you use 10Mbps speed, you have to use MCU or DSP more than spi speed 50MHz with W5200.
Therefore, W7200 can’t use in 10Mbps speed.
By the way, where did you confirm speed of W5100?(6Mbps??)
Thanks,
WIZnet
