Given that you're already utilizing the Raspberry Pi 4, which is a good option, it's important to keep in mind that driver support plays a major role in hardware compatibility. The Raspberry Pi OS's built-in WIZnet drivers are rather outdated and might not support the WIZ550io in its entirety right out of the box. It may be necessary to manually modify or use WIZnet's ioLibrary to generate a more recent driver. Robocraze is a wonderful site to find authentic Raspberry Pi devices and accessories if you're searching for dependable hardware or replacements.
