What is the SD\MMC used for ?
Do I need to add SD\MMC to my PCB design as well ?
→ SD\MMC is for testing purposes only. if you run it as a Web Server, You have to use SD\MMC.
because of HTML SIze.
Is this code applicable to NRF52840 ? ( example is on NRF52832 )

You can test it using local server.
Can it be used with nrf 15.3 SDK ?
I think, You will have no problem migrating.
