WIZ812MJ 기반 네트워크 앰프 – PKN Audio XE Series

헝가리의 오디오 장비 제조사 PKN Audio는 전문 음향 시스템을 위한 XE Series 파워 앰프를 개발했습니다.
XE 시리즈는 XE2500, XE4000, XE5002, XE6000, XE10000 총 5가지 모델로 구성되며, 공연 및 고정 설치 환경에서 사용되는 프로페셔널 앰프 시스템입니다.

이 제품의 가장 큰 특징 중 하나는 Ethernet 기반 원격 제어 기능입니다.
PKN Audio는 네트워크 기능 구현을 위해 WIZnet의 WIZ812MJ Ethernet 모듈을 사용해 왔습니다.

Ethernet 기반 원격 제어

Network-Enabled Amplifiers Using WIZ812MJ – PKN Audio XE Series

PKN Audio, a professional audio equipment manufacturer from Hungary, developed the XE Series power amplifiers for both portable and fixed installations.

The XE lineup includes five models:

XE2500

XE4000

XE5002

XE6000

XE10000

One of the key features of the XE Series is its Ethernet-based remote control capability, implemented using the WIZnet WIZ812MJ Ethernet module.

Ethernet Remote Control

Each XE amplifier includes an embedded web server, allowing users to monitor and control the amplifier over a standard Ethernet network.

Remote control can be performed in two ways:

Through a web browser interface (Java-based)

Using PKNC control software

Recently, they showed interest in evaluating WIZ-IP20 as a potential replacement.

For products currently using WIZ812MJ, it may be possible to design a small adapter board that provides PIN-to-PIN compatibility, allowing WIZ-IP20 to replace the legacy module while maintaining the existing hardware design.

Such an approach could help customers modernize their Ethernet solutions while preserving compatibility with existing systems.
