WIZnet - W5500

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is a PoE module using the W5500.

Unlike the other modules, he used isolate DCDCs to avoid using transistors, which simplified the design but probably increased the unit cost quite a bit.

PoE relies on the PSE handshaking with the PD to determine how much power it should send once it knows the PD is connected.

The initial PD detection is connected with a PD resistor value of 25k ohm, but the BOM list posted by the author has 24.4k ohm, so it seems to be a PoE module that supports PD detection. This project is a PoE module using W5500.
