Easy PoE and Ethernet modules
This module is a simple PoE module using W5500 from WIZnet.

There are a lot of PoE module that come out of the time.
However, I have experienced many problems using many inexpensive PoE modules. Temperature issues, stopping motion, EMC issues, etc
I wanted to use a module that combines W5500 and PoE from WIZnet.
There is a Featherwing PoE module on the market. But it seems to be discontinued at the moment.
And Featherwing Module has 4W output spec, which was a little lacking for me.
I needed a solid PoE module over 6W without generating heat.
That's why I used this module.
It supports 8W output, and there seem to be multiple protection circuits. The most important thing is that it doesn't produce much heat.
This module uses a Flyback circuit, which uses a frequency of 400 kHz, much higher than the switching frequency commonly used by PoE.
As the frequency is fast, noise is reduced, and the temperature is reduced accordingly. However, the cost of the devices will become expensive.
I like it very much.
And the W5500 is equipped with these features. The W5500 simply allows my MCU of choice to do Ethernet. It solves everything about Ethernet by simply mounting it.

There are SPI pins for communicating with the MCU and pins that tell you the Ethernet status.
The size is 65x22mm, which is very small.
I asked for Custom from Platypus because I had to change the layout before using this module. I asked for a module that changed the layout because I needed a module with a size of 50x50.
I received the module well and am using it now. The specifications are the same as this module. If you need a sample, please ask. They responded very kindly.
