W5500 chip은 MAC address를 포함하지 않습니다.
WIZnet hardwired TCP/IP chip 제품군은 MCU의 주도에 의해 동작하게 되며, MAC 주소와 IP 설정 등도 MCU의 초기화 과정에서 담당하게 됩니다.
만약 제품화 과정에서 할당해 줄 MAC 주소가 없어 곤란하시다면 WIZ550io 모듈 제품을 검토 해 보시면 좋을 것 같습니다.
WIZ550io는 W5500 chip을 모듈화 한 제품으로, unique한 공식 MAC 주소를 함께 탑재하여 제공하고 있습니다.

부팅한 후 W5500 칩에 MAC Address 를 세팅하지 않고 MAC Address 을 읽어보면 다음과 같이 읽힙니다.
MAC : 00.08.DC.1C.AA.1E
이런 것을 보면 W5500 칩마다 이미 해당 MAC Address가 기본적으로 세팅되어 나오는 건 아닌지요?

W5500 칩 자체는 MCU 없이 동작 할 수 없습니다. 따라서 미리 MAC 주소 정보가 설정되어 출시 될 수도 없습니다.
그렇다면 MCU 측에서 부팅 시 W5500 칩의 network 정보를 설정해주고 있는 상황으로 생각됩니다.
사용 중이신 제품군이 모듈인가요 칩인가요?
만약 칩이라면, MAC 주소는 어떤 경로로 제공 받으셨는지 알려주십시오.

W5500 칩이 아니고 wiz550io 모듈이네요…

WIZ550io 모듈은 Plug-in Network module로, MCU는 포함되어 있지 않지만 MAC 주소를 내장하여 출시된 제품입니다.
초기 부팅 시 별도의 사용자 설정이 없다면 생산 시 포함된 unique MAC 주소가 W5500 칩에 자동으로 설정됩니다.
