안녕하세요.
EtherCAT은 산업용 Ethernet 프로토콜로, 전송 단계에서 TCP/IP가 아닌 EtherCAT Datagram 형식의 헤더를 사용합니다.
EtherCAT이 적용되는 산업용 Ethernet 분야의 제품군은
다수의 축 제어 등의 실시간 제어 응용에 활용되는 경우가 많으며, 이러한 점 때문에 해당 Protocol 처리가 H/W로 구현된 제품군이 주로 활용됩니다.
또한 Topology 역시 하나의 Device가 2개의 LAN 포트를 가지며 ring, daisy-chain의 형태로 연결되는 경우가 많습니다.
때문에 현 WIZnet의 Hardwired TCP/IP Chip에서는 EtherCAT을 지원하지 않으며,
지원 모듈 제품군도 없는 점 양해 부탁 드립니다.
