조금 오래 된 질문 이지만 참고를 위해 적어둡니다.
기본적으로 출하 되는 W7100A 칩은 별도의 펌웨어가 탑재되어 있지 않습니다.
이전 댓글에서 언급된 내용대로, W7100A 칩 + WIZ107SR 펌웨어 (Serial to ethernet 기능) + MAC address 를 W7100-S2E라는 IC 제품으로 판매하고 있습니다.
WIZ107SR의 펌웨어는 Boot 영역과 Application 영역으로 구분되어 있습니다. 위즈네트 정책 상 고객께 제공되는 펌웨어는 Application 영역 만으로, 이를 W7100A 칩에 write 하셔도 정상 동작하지 않습니다. (정상 동작을 위해 Boot 및 App - 두 영역 모두 필요합니다.) 따라서 질문 내용과 같이 칩으로 해당 기능을 활용하시려면 W7100-S2E 제품을 선택하시면 됩니다.
