INTRODUCTION This article presents a Smart Solid Waste Monitoring and collecting system. It is a common sight to witness garbage spilled out in and around the dust bins. The area around an improperly maintained dust bins can house disease spreading insects like mosquitoes, flies, bees and driver ants. The environment around a dustbin is also conducive for increasing the pollution level in air.
