Overview

LittleBird developed a smart residential platform designed to provide secure access management, IoT connectivity, and community engagement services within modern residential buildings.

To ensure reliable network connectivity and simplified device deployment, the system integrates WIZnet’s W5500 Ethernet controller with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. This combination enables stable communication between devices and centralized management systems while reducing installation complexity.

Challenge

Modern residential communities rely on a variety of connected devices, including:

Each device within the system communicates over Ethernet, with the W5500 providing reliable TCP/IP connectivity between field devices and central servers.
