It's time for the USB C Type Ethernet to be commercialized
It's time for the Ethernet Connector to change to ultra-small.

In the project above, we combined WIZnet's W5500 with Raspberry Pi RP2040's Pico board to enable Ethernet functionality.
And WIZnet has released the W55RP20, a chip that combines the RP2040 and W5500. This presents a great opportunity to reduce the size of the board.
To minimize the size, most of the RLC components have been designed in 0201 size. I anticipate there will be significant challenges during assembly.
I would like to share the entire schematic, but after the last project, there was a lot of debugging to improve Ethernet performance. In the end, the design was completed to pass both EMC and Compliance Tests. In any case, it has been proven that Ethernet performance at 10/100 is more than sufficient even with a USB-C Type connector.
I have designed the pinout as follows.
The design was carried out to create a small microcontroller, similar to Pimoroni's Tiny 2040 or Seeed Studio's XIAO RP2040. It's a similarly sized board, but with Ethernet capability.
The front and back of the fully completed board artwork look like this. It's perfectly compact, with all functions intact, and the only addition is Ethernet.
This board allows you to use all the functions listed in the pinout. It is expected to be a perfect product for edge devices.
"Once the PCB assembly is completed and its operation is confirmed, I will continue to update the project. Please look forward to it!"
