PROJECT DESCRIPTION

intro

Few days ago Raspberry Pi released new SDK that added missing feature to Pico W - Bluetooth support. For more information please refer to this RPi blog post.

In fact, this article was made after Victor, a Wiznet employee. I also wanted to have a BLE to Ethernet Gateway, and I just read the post and found out that I updated PicoW on Raspberry Pi.

Progress

I just connected the PicoW to the PoE board I had. The Pico WBLE does not consume much power. So this is possible.

I used the firmware that Victor made.

The LED is blinking. These are LINK and ACT LEDs. I configured it to keep giving data with BLE, and the ACT LED keeps blinking, so it seems to be working normally.

Complete!

It works very, very simple than you think. I can now get BLE data on Ethernet too!
