## Article

We discovered an innovative open-source project on GitHub called **SolarBit**, which combines renewable energy with cryptocurrency mining.

The project demonstrates how to use solar power to run a Bitcoin mining setup, providing documentation and code that show how clean energy can be harnessed for decentralized applications.

In the latest release ([v1.4.3](https://github.com/CryptoIceMLH/SolarBit/releases/tag/V1.4.3)), the author added support for the **WIZnet W5500 Ethernet module**. This upgrade enables SolarBit to connect reliably over Ethernet, improving stability compared to Wi-Fi connections — a useful enhancement for long-running or outdoor setups.
