Security Network Shield는 Arduino Platform과 호환됩니다. Security Network Shield는 eWBM사의 MS1000과 WIZnet사의 W5500 chip을 사용하여 설계된 기존 W5500 Ethernet Shield의 upgrade version입니다. Security Network Shield는 W5500 Ethernet Shield의 기존 네트워크 기능을 모두 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 특히 SSL(Secure Sockets Layer) protocol은 서버와 클라이언트 간에 모든 데이터가 공유될 수 있도록 지원합니다. Security Network Shield의 MS1000은 최상의 성능을 발휘할 수 있도록 HW accelerate security engine과 더불어 SSL function을 지원하고 있습니다.
