# Arduino Ethernet Shield

This board is for connecting the WIZ811MJ module to the [Arduino Duemilanove](https://docs.arduino.cc/retired/boards/arduino-duemilanove).

WIZ811MJ is based on the W5100 Ethernet chip and includes all the necessary hardware and software to implement an Ethernet interface.

The W5100 chip provides a full-featured TCP/IP stack with support for TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, IGMP, and PPPoE protocols. It also includes a 10/100Mbps Ethernet MAC and PHY, as well as 16KB of buffer memory for incoming and outgoing data.

The author can use the WIZ811MJ for the Arduino board and take it off with other platform boards.
