## Article

BackgroundAir is an important reagent in photosynthetic processes and in hydraulic processes in plant growth. Dry soil will result in the plant becoming wilted, and if it remains in a dry state it will most likely die. Therefore, we made a device that can help overcome this problem, namely controlling soil water, an IoT-based device that can pour water on the ground using a smartphone connected to the internet.

How it works: The components used, such as the Arduino ethernet shield must be connected to the internet using an ethernet cable to the Sensor Router, to transmit data to the cloud server through the gateway, and stored on the Cloud server, to be forwarded to the mobile device. On mobile devices, the application has a feature that displays information about the condition of the soil on plants, and then the user can send commands to water the soil as needed, so that the soil is always in good condition / sufficient moisture content.
