## Article

The purpose of this design in this project is as the main control of the environmental monitoring station, which can collect relevant environmental data and send it to the background server, and specify IO control for the instructions issued by the server. (Actually it can be a universal board, with these interfaces, users can control and detect many aspects of the Internet of Things)

Basic working principle:

The motherboard can attach sensors through the 485 bus interface, as long as it supports 485 communication. The corresponding sensor is different, and the corresponding protocol needs to be modified. Analog IO can be used to detect external analog sensors. After acquiring the sensor data, package the sensor data, and then send the data to the server through Ethernet or GPRS. And according to the configuration time, save the data to the local plug-in FLASH. The digital input and output of the main control board can be used to send control levels to external actuators or accept external switching values according to server configuration instructions or local logic control.

The server can issue specified instructions to actively control or configure the working mode of the motherboard. (For example: alternate server IP port, upload interval, calibration system time difference, backup history, location query, etc.)
