# No mgnetics

## Question

Asked by ristohedman on 2013-11-29 in Ethernet Chips.

Hello,

In our new design we will use W5500. We will need also on board ethernet switch to connect our modules in parallel. We would like to use transformerless connection from W5500 to switch chip, which we have not choosen yet. Do you think one of the circuits represented in Micrel’s app. note [micrel.com/_PDF/Ethernet/app … an-120.pdf](http://www.micrel.com/_PDF/Ethernet/app-notes/an-120.pdf) could be used with W5500?
