# LWL with external PHY

Hi ,
i want to connect an external PHY to W5300 for LWL. With external PHY is aprovve?

You can connect PHY to PHY theoretically, but we do not test about it.

Hi,

i want to communicate over Fiber Optics. The best PHY i have found is DP83620 from Texas Instruments. Is it possible to connect the W5300 with this chip?

I’m sorry, unfortunately, Fiber optic PHY connection is not supported.
