# 1 msec delay requires in WIZCHIP_READ function

## Question

Asked by neeloza on 2024-06-07 in Ethernet Chips.

Hello,

We are developing an application with W5500 and STM32F4 MCU. It is connected over SPI (Mode: 3 and Clock: 42 Mbits/sec [Max capability of STM32]) and using [ioLibrary_Driver](https://github.com/Wiznet/ioLibrary_Driver) for project development.

We are using HTTPS (443) protocol to publish a message to server using Mbed TLS (version 2.24.0). To success establish handshaking and connection, we have to add 1 msec delay (HAL_Delay) in *WIZCHIP_READ()* function before it calls *WIZCHIP_CRITICAL_ENTER*().

Please let me know any other information required to debug an issue.

Thanks!

I hope this below link would be helpful for your issue
<https://github.com/WIZnet-ioLibrary/W5x00-TLS>

You can use wiz_tls_read() functions for your application
