# WizFi360 maximum payload size

## Question

Asked by Richard on 2026-10-29 in Wireless.

I'm developing an application which requires sending files over TCP using a WizFi360. I seem to be having some success, but when I capture packets arriving at my server I find that the maximum payload sent appears to be 1024 bytes, with anything greater than that being fragmented. Whilst this is acceptable it is a little bit inefficient. Is there any way to increase the payload up toward 1460 Bytes?

I'm sending using AT+CIPSENDBUF which seemed the most sensible choice for a large file ( a few MBytes )
