# Herramienta de configuración/Configuration tool WIZnet S2E v1.6.2.15

## Question

Asked by WiznetSis on 2026-10-14 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

Actualice el modulo Wiz750SR a la version V1.4.5 (no el boot) con el programa de configuracion wizconfig. Todo funciono bien con la actualizacion.

I updated the Wiz750SR module to version V1.4.5 (not the bootloader) using the wizconfig configuration program. Everything worked fine with the update.

It allowed me to check out the new features on the web page.

Me permitio mirar lo nuevo en pagina WEB. ///

Todo bien hasta ese momento. Leer , Configurar etc.

Ya no puedo ver mas datos del modulo WIZ750SR y no me permite configurarlo mas. //

I can no longer see data from the WIZ750SR module, and it won't let me configure it anymore.

SE RESETEO A FABRICA Y VOLVIO A MIRAR PARA CONFIGURAR. AHORA ANDA.

NO TENGO GUIA MANUAL DEL PROGRAMA DE CONFIGURACION!!!

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

The WIZ750SR firmware consists of two parts: **Boot and Application (App)**. These versions must be compatible for the module to operate properly.

You mentioned updating the firmware from v1.2.4 to v1.4.5. If your module still uses Boot v1.2, it is not compatible with App v1.4.5.

The WIZnet S2E Configuration Tool updates only the application area, so the Boot version remains unchanged.

**To resolve this compatibility issue, we recommend updating both Boot and App using the WIZISP Tool.**

### Firmware Update Instructions

Download the v1.4.5 Boot+App firmware from our GitHub releases page:

File: `WIZ750SRv145_incl_Boot.bin` (for WIZ750SR-TTL/RS232/RS485)

Connect the WIZ750SR to your PC through UART2 (ISP port).

Run the WIZISP Tool, enter Boot mode, and upload the downloaded Boot+App firmware.

Once the update is complete, restart the module in Normal mode and verify its operation using the Configuration Tool.

**Note:** Please use the `Erase All Code Memory` option as described in the guide. Selecting `Erase All Data/Code Memory` may erase the MAC address and configuration data.
