# Question regarding hardware modification: WIZ750SR-485 to WIZ750SR-232

## Question

Hello,

I have a question regarding the hardware modification of the WIZ750SR.

To convert a WIZ750SR-485 module into a WIZ750SR-232 model, I am planning to perform the following changes:

Remove U6 and U7.

Mount (solder) U5 and C10–C14.

After these hardware changes, will the module be ready for immediate use as a 232 version? Or is there any additional firmware configuration or jumper setting required?
