# Request for WizFi360 SDK, Driver Integration and Web Hosting Support for Yocto on ARM Cortex-A8 SBC

## Question

Asked by Abhi_Patel on 2025-04-22 in Wireless.

**Dear Wiznet Support Team,**

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently working on a project using the **WizFi360 Wi-Fi module** in combination with an **ARM Cortex-A8 SBC** (Phyboard Wega AM3354) running a **Yocto-based Linux operating system**. I am interested in using the WizFi360 for wireless communication and hosting web pages directly through the module.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the following:

1. **SDK or driver support** for integrating WizFi360 with Yocto on an ARM Cortex-A8 SBC.

2. **Documentation or sample code** for establishing UART-based communication between the SBC and WizFi360.

3. **Guidance or steps** for integrating the WizFi360 into the Linux networking stack or using it as a Wi-Fi interface.

4. **Instructions or examples** for enabling basic web hosting functionality using the WizFi360.

Please let me know if there are any recommended libraries, existing drivers, or reference implementations for this setup.

Looking forward to your support.

Best Regards,
Abhi Patel

will this wi-fi module be integrated as new network interface to Yocto cross compiled SBC or everything needs to be communicate over UART with AT commands

Hi,

I’m sharing the MQTT-related documentation for the WizFi360.

You can find a simple MQTT example at the link below:

<https://docs.wiznet.io/img/products/wizfi360/wizfi360ds/wizfi360_an_mqtt_k.pdf>

If you'd like to explore more application examples, please check the link below:

<https://docs.wiznet.io/Product/Wi-Fi-Module/WizFi360/application_examples>

WizFi360 is not a Wi-Fi card that is automatically recognized in Linux; it is an external device controlled via AT commands. In a Linux environment, you need to manually implement UART configuration, AT command transmission and reception, and exception handling through code. Below are some examples of using WizFi360 with C and Arduino. Please refer to the code below for guidance.
