# W5500 server socket

## Question

Asked by JavorWM on 2025-03-19 in Ethernet Chips.

Let's say I have a server socket, for example 3. After server closes the socket connection using close(3), Sn_IR_DISCON is never called. How can this be handled?

setSn_CR(sn,Sn_CR_CLOSE); Have you tried closing the socket with this function?

If you're using socket3, I think you can put "3" for sn
