# w6100 Sn_SR status == 0x11 undocumented?

## Question

Asked by oruerik on 2025-03-12 in Ethernet Chips.

Hi, We have an issue, occasionally when reading the Sn_SR register, we get a value of 0x11.

This value is not documented in the "Hardwired Dual TCP/IP Stack Controller" V1.0.5 document.

Currently when we get an undocumented Status, we declare a fatal error and stop!

- What does Sn_SR status equal 0x11 mean?

- Can it be safely ignored?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, We are also seeing other undocumented Sn_SR status values....
EG: 0xe6 and others...
Should we simply ignore all undocumented values?

Regards
