Still no MicroPython firmware. when will you release it?

(There is a CircuitPython firmware for W5100S-EVB-Pico2. https://circuitpython.org/board/wiznet_w5100s_evb_pico2/ )

There’s a pull request on MicroPython’s GitHub to add support for the W5500-EVB-Pico2 and W5100S-EVB-Pico2. Check it out here: https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/16280

Can't open thread. Says invalid subject.

I have build this <https://github.com/micropython/micropython/pull/16280> and done some initial testing and it seems to work.

Hi, The MicroPython project for Pico2 combined with our chip is currently under development, and the release schedule has not been determined yet.

Is there any progress in a Micropython release? I have got all my basic functions working with Raspberry Pico2 but now I need to implement the network aspects. This was the reason for purchasing a W5500-EVB-Pico2

We are currently waiting for a response from the MicroPython team.
If you try it out and leave any feedback or a review, we would greatly appreciate it.
