# W5500 Schematic troubleshooting

## Question

Asked by Ussama Zafar on 2024-07-31 in Ethernet Chips.

I have designed my own board using W5500, used an online reference schematic. Now the SPI interface with the chip is working as it does get ip configuration and tried to extract the modem version from the registers of W5500 so it does respond. But the ethernet is not connecting to my pc, ( though i have extensive work experience with the ethernet shield ). When i went through my schematic i found a problem that the Ethernet jack i have used have different pin configuration than that of i used in my schematic so i soldered some wires and made the connection but still no hope. I am sharing my schematics as well if someone can help me out to debug. Please

You also must post the wrong part number as well as how you connected it. May it be wrong connection simply fried the chip?
