# WIZ750sr-100 sends packets in bursts

## Question

Asked by MrPorcine on 2024-01-21 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

I’m using the 750 as a server. My hardware sends short records (~15 characters) to the 750 about every 100ms. The 750 does forward each record as a separate packet. My client sees these records come though as bursts of maybe 10 records, then a wait, then another burst. The client is using read(…) in a tight loop. It there some way of receiving the packets in a timely manner?

This turned out to be a hardware problem on the our development board. Once fixed no delays!
