# Question on TCP Server Timeout:

## Question

Asked by Padmini on 2023-05-11 in Wireless.

Hi,

We are using WizFi 360 WiFi module with firmware version 1.0.7.5.

CMD => AT+CIPSTO: Sets the TCP Server Timeout.
TCP server timeout is within the range of 0 ~ 7200s.

What is the meaning of timeout 0 ?
Is this like, TCP server Timer is disabled ? And TCP connection will not terminate automatically for in-activity, until manually terminates the TCP connection ?

Thanks,
Padmini

Hi [@Padmini](https://maker.wiznet.io/u/padmini)

Timeout 0 is to disable the timeout.

And if timeouts are disabled, the TCP connection will not be terminated, even if it is in in-active with no data sent or received, until you manually terminate the TCP connection.
