# w5500 link led not active

## Question

Asked by roy on 2023-04-28 in Ethernet Chips.

when the cable pulg,the link led not work. can anyone help me

Try another type of cable (see MDIX in datasheet), check power, inspect board for damage, ensure W5500 is not held in reset state.
Of course I assume your board has been working before. If it is a prototype then examine the circuit diagram and the whole design.
