# W5500 not working with some switches.

## Question

Asked by sajib karmaker on 2022-01-27 in Ethernet Chips.

using the w5500 ethernet module which works nicely with the router but the problem arises when we use a switch in between the router and the w5500 module.

we tried with different types of switches (tp-link,d-link), etc.
