# Connect TCP/IP module to SFP/SFP+ module.

## Question

Asked by Riccardo on 2021-10-22 in Ethernet Chips.

Hi, I’m new to this Forum and also new to the WIZnet world. I would be pleased to know, if someone can answer me, if there are already solutions for the connection of hardwired TCP/IP controller (like the W5100, which is not a constraint) or other types of hardware to SFP/SFP+ modules. What are the options offered by WIZnet in this sector? Thanks in advance.

I don’t know about SFP, but if data transmission is Giga unit, you can’t use the wiznet’s chip.
