# W5500 Support SSL ?

## Question

Hi,

Let me know W5500 Support SSL, have to use with AWS IoT core.

Yes. I use wolfSSL with a system built from an Adafruit Metro M4 Express and a W5500 shield. Works great. wolfSSL is open source for non-commercial use.

You may want to consider using my version of Paul Stoffregen’s W5500-compatible library. I made substantial improvements to its reliability and give the application more control of socket management.
