# W5100 chip variable problem (uint8_t)

## Question

Asked by sinan.kamilcelebi on 2021-09-02 in Ethernet Chips.

Hello:

I want to use the W5100 ethernet control chip. However, there are variables of type uint8_t in the W5100 I/O driver. On my master DSP device, there is not uint8_t type variable. How can I solve this problem?
