# Echo mode in Data pass-through

## Question

Asked by Simon on 2021-03-13 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

Hello,

How can I switch of echoing when transmitting data, using the “Data pass-through mode”?
Is that even possible?

Using the W7500S2E-R1 Rev1.2 module with firmware 2.4.

Thank you!
Regards
