# W5500 SPI to Ethernet module interface with Jetson Nano

## Question

Asked by aniruddha on 2020-11-02 in Ethernet Chips.

I am using HanRun HR911105A 19/18 Module which has wiznet w5500 spi to Ethernet chip. Does this module is compatible with Nvidia Jetson Nano?

If it is compatible then how can i include spi to ethernet based driver in Jetson Nano OS(linux) and create the different ethernet network interface in OS?

You should use overlay for W5500 and recompile your kernel to include support for w5100-spi.
Honestly, I tried to manage W5500 work with OrangePi PC, but to no avail.
Look at this guide - [Add a WIZ820io / USR-ES1 - Wiznet W5500 Network Port to Your Raspberry Pi. : 11 Steps - Instructables](https://www.instructables.com/Add-a-WIZ850io-Wiznet-W5500-Network-Port-to-Your-R/)
