# W5300 auto MDI/MDIX

## Question

Asked by jianjian on 2020-10-30 in Ethernet Chips.

hello everyone
I am writhing here to ask weather the W5300 has the function of auto MDI/MDIX?
For example, I have designed a board with W5300 and using the Dsp2812 as the main controler.
I have test the ethernet by plug in a direct-connect cable into the pc and the board, But the pc has no reaction. I really suspect the RX and TX have been connected wrong, But I don’t know how to solve this problem.
I would very appriate if someone could help me!
