# W5500 client - How to handle receiving large file?

## Question

Asked by cellkey on 2020-07-17 in Ethernet Chips.

Hello experts:
I am receiving short strings from server ok.
i am not sure how to handle receiving a large file (64K bytes) !..
Is data is kept in buffer until reading it?
If buffer is full W5500 stop receiving ?
