# [WIZ550S2E][Configuration Tool] How to fix module search problem ?

## Question

Asked by lawrence on 2019-08-27 in General.

When the Tool does not search your WIZ550s2e module, please check the below conditions.

1. check Ethernet port LED on module
   both led must be on. (active led is blink)
   If there is a problem, check your LAN Cable or Network Hub.

2. if you are using 232 interface or 485/422 interface board, check the below conditions.
  - state1 LED : on
  - state2 LED : off
  - Hardware Trigger : off

   > If state1 LED is still off, you have to Re-upload WIZ550S2E Firmware

   download tool : <http://www.flashmagictool.com/> (**version 11.20** recommanded)

3. check the Configuration Tool version
  - the last version is **v1.31**

4. disable virtual machine
  - **Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center**
   disable other network except ‘Local Area Connection’ for Ethernet
   (Disable WiFi on Laptop as well)

5. enable UDP port 6550 in Fireware
   a. **Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Windows Firewall**
   b. click **Advanced settings**

   c. click **Outbound Rules** and click **New Rule…**

   d. select **PORT(O)**

   e. select **UDP(U)** and type port number **6550**

   f. select **Allow the connection**

   g. select **Domain, Private, Public**

   h. type **Name** and description

   i. new outbound rule registered
