# Link LED output on pin header

## Question

Asked by ExtSol on 2019-07-15 in Serial-to-Ethernet & ConfigTool.

Hi All,

How can i writing custom firmware for W7100A? I want to set unused pin (nFACT_RST) to Link LED output for check ethernet cable connect or not.

If this way is not possible, i will solder the uc link output to unused pin (10) of pin header.
